TorchGuyA personal welcome from our founder and president.

LeezHead
Hello, and thanks for tuning in to our web site. I have one simple (but tough) question for you:

How prepared are you to face your world today?

Whether you're desperately seeking solutions or thoroughly satisfied with your current life, the one constant we all share is change. Things may be getting better or getting worse - but they're certainly not staying the same. And you may have noticed: the pace of change is faster than ever.

The accelerated tempo challenges our abilities to cope with the increasingly complex course of modern life. So, we sometimes lose focus on the important things in life.

I believe the solution lies in two concepts: PRIORITIES and BALANCE.

Priorities
Establishing an order of importance and urgency is necessary if we are to know what to do next. In this day and age, not only do we have many more options than our predecessors, but we have evolved to believe that one of those options is "not settling for the known options." So we strike our imagination against the flint of knowledge and throw off a creative spark that illuminates new possibilities. Sifting through all those possibilities without some way to rank them can quickly overwhelm the mere mortal. Lifescope offers tools which can help you discover and prioritize the options in your life.

Balance
But what about the bigger picture? This is when the concept of balance proves useful. I like to think of balance as "a harmonious arrangement of parts tending to produce stability." And stable doesn't mean stopped or unchanging. A gyroscope becomes more stable the faster it spins. If the earth stopped orbiting the sun, we'd all plunge to a firey death. It's important to note that the parts can be whizzing right along, changing as they go, and can still be producing stability.

The Eight Vital Zones®
We've developed a way of thinking about Priorities and Balance, which we call The Eight Vital Zones®. As applied to this model, the concept of balance offers up a structure of relating disparate items into the context of a whole -- your whole life and whole being. We can list most of the parts (as we have in the segments of the Eight Vital Zones wheel), but how does one prioritize them? This becomes the most personal of choices -- you must decide what is right for you, and when.

We have products which can help you through this process, and in mastering each of the individual parts. We know you'll find many of these products invaluable. Which one is best for you now depends on where you are in your life.

As James Branch Cabell once said, "The optimists in the world say these are the best times of our lives, and the pessimists fear this is true." We believe the world is what you make of it. I hope you share our vision of a worthwhile future. We are constantly searching for goods that deliver real, tangible life enhancements. Here, online, are listings of the really outstanding products we've found that do just that. If you prefer to browse in a non-computerized manner, send us your address, and we'll get a print catalog right out to you.

I'd love to hear your personal recommendations. Send me a note now, to lee(at)lifescope.com, if you like. I look forward to hearing from you.

To Life!

Lee Lukehart
